By creating an account or using the Milieux mobile application (“App”, “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information, keep your login credentials secure, and be responsible for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Milieux is a location-based social platform that allows users to discover nearby venues, check in to real-world locations, view other users at venues, connect and message users, upload profile information and photos, and receive push notifications. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
The App uses your device’s location to provide core features. By using the Service, you consent to the collection of your GPS location while using the App and the display of your presence at venues when you check in. You can disable location permissions in your device settings, but some features may not function properly.
You retain ownership of content you upload, including profile information, photos, messages, and check-in activity. By posting content, you grant Milieux a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store your content, display it within the Service, and use it to operate and improve the App. You are solely responsible for the content you share.
You agree NOT to harass, threaten, or abuse other users; post unlawful, harmful, or offensive content; impersonate another person; attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems; use the App for illegal purposes; or scrape, reverse engineer, or exploit the Service. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Milieux does not control user behavior. You acknowledge that you interact with other users at your own risk, we are not responsible for user conduct, and we do not verify venue safety or user identity.
If messaging features are enabled, you are responsible for your communications. We may monitor or review messages to enforce policies or comply with law. Abuse of messaging features may result in suspension.
Venue data may be sourced from third-party providers. We do not guarantee the accuracy of venue details, business operating hours, or safety of locations. You visit venues at your own discretion.
All App content, branding, software, and design are owned by Milieux Ltd. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in harmful or illegal behavior, or we are required to do so by law. You may delete your account at any time.
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, or that the Service will meet your expectations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Milieux Ltd shall not be liable for indirect or incidental damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury arising from user interactions. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Milieux Ltd from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your content or conduct.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of UK courts.
We may modify features, introduce paid features, or restrict certain functionality at any time without prior notice.
